Will there be support for Virtual Tabletops (VTTs)?
We do plan on supporting Flee, Mortals! with virtual tabletop modules for Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, and Foundry. When this support will roll out is an ongoing discussion as each platform is different. It may be, when the Pledge Manager launches, you’ll be able to add VTT support to your order. We may not get those agreements worked out in time, or it may be we have Add Ons for some VTTs and not others, but by the time the book releases all three major VTTs will be supported.

Will VTT support be free with the PDF?
Nope! These are separate products that require separate development. When they’re ready, they’ll be available for purchase in our shop or through the platform’s marketplace (it’s different for each).

Will there be psionic monsters?
Yep! At least a handful. Psionic Monsters will use the currently-in-development rules for MCDM’s forthcoming custom psionic class The Talent. Psionic Monsters won’t have resources to manage but they will have special psionic abilities.

Are the gemstone dragons getting their overhaul in this book?
We are heavily revising the psionics rules presented in Strongholds & Followers and this includes revising the Gemstone Dragons. At least ONE of those revised gemstone dragons will be in this book, but the rest will probably have to wait for another book.

What enemy parties are in the first stretch goal?
No idea! That’s part of the R&D the Kickstarter is paying for! Certainly the Black Iron Pact will be in there!

Will the monster book have a section about designing your own action oriented monsters?
Nope! There are no generic rules for that, it’s the designers’ job to custom craft each monster individually.

EU/CA/UK/AU-Friendly shipping?
Shipping and import duties are changing too much and too quickly for us to promise this. Maybe things calm down by next year, we’ll see.

Will the book have any unit stat blocks from the Kingdoms and Warfare rules?
Nope! We want to make a book that everyone can use, and obviously not everyone has or uses our Warfare system. More Warfare Units would be for a future Warfare supplement.

It’s the same cover, just on a dustjacket. We MAY do a special cover, but no promises.

Will there be options in backerkit to add on both PDF and standard hardcovers of Kingdoms and Warfare and Strongholds and Followers?
Nope. If you want to save on shipping you’ll have to wait until all three products are done and in stock, you can order them all from the store then and save.

Is there a list of all the monsters that will be in the book?
We have an internal list of everything we want to include in the book, and that’s how we arrived at our funding and scheduling goals, but we want to be free to add or cut things as development plays out. If we share the list, and then decide to cut something, we upset some people.

Shipping & VAT Backers
We currently don’t have shipping & VAT prices entered for physical rewards in BackerKit. We plan to wait until closer to fulfillment to enter & charge you for shipping & VAT on your survey to get the most accurate/fair fulfillment prices. We will update backers after entering those shipping & VAT prices before we charge you in BackerKit.

The biggest risk to this project is the same thing that turned K&W fulfillment into a quagmire: Printing & Shipping. The world is still dealing with the dramatic but aptly named Shipping Apocalypse which affects all our physical goods. We think it’s reasonable to expect these issues to simmer down by the end of 2023, but we could be wrong! Right now we estimate that we'll be able to begin shipping rewards in October 2023. The "Flee, Mortals!" PDF is estimated to be sent out in August 2023; once it's ready to go, you'll get an email from BackerKit with a link to download it.

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
